Planning & Zoning
The Town of Sparta Planning Commission will meet Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Sparta Town Hall. To be addressed: Scott Davis requesting approval of a Certified Survey Map on State Hwy 27;
Daniel Byler requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit for a small business to sell tools and build hunting and storage sheds at 7239 Iband Ave; additional agenda items may be posted at the townhall. For concerns on the above items, contact Steve Mason, Planning Commission Chairman, 608-633-0500.
The Planning Commission meets the first Tuesday of the month "as needed". To get on the agenda, contact the clerk for an application form. spartatownship@yahoo.com
If you are planning a land division under 20 acres or want to start a small business which would require a conditional use permit or a zoning change, contact the Town Clerk to determine whether it may need planning commission review.
